Silverstein 2016 USA Tour

I didn't know who any of the opening bands where, but they were all amazing! Emarosa was incredible. Very high energy, the lead singer was everywhere jumping into the crowd. It was great. We had arrived a little late and missed the first opening band called Rarity. We saw Coldrain from Japan, amazing band! Being as an Ocean was great, but not entirely my kind of music. Still high energy good rock band. Silverstein was incredible. They played songs from all their cds, great energy and they really knew how to get the crowd going! I would see them again in a heartbeat. They have always been one of my favorite bands. All in all great show, Loved the bands!

Silverstein killed it!!!!

Overall, it was an amazing night! The venue was gorgeous, and it wasn't super crowded, so it gave everyone plenty of room to move around and rock out, if they so desired. All of the bands, except one, were phenomenal. That one band, tragically, was Emarosa. I am a huge Emarosa fan, and I do love their new album. I was excited to see them perform with their new singer. I was wildly disappointed in them, as only about a third of every song was sung, the remaining two thirds being random heavy breathing, or the guy just moving around. As all of the other performers that night demonstrated, you can jump around and still sing your songs perfectly. I'm not really sure what happened, but as a big fan, it broke my heart a little. Even with the disappointment I felt from that, the night was still incredible. Silverstein.....just wow. I've been a fan since When Broken Is Easily Fixed, and it may have taken me 13 years, but I finally saw them and just wow! Soooo worth the wait. The only other thing I can say, is I paid $11 for a can of beer, which is pretty crazy, but I still did it, so whatever. I did love that there were plenty of bars. ;)
